CUBO, the Unipol Group’s corporate museum, presents Organico Fantastico, a group exhibition from 10 June to 26 September 2026, curated by Pasquale Fameli and Valentina Rossi, which has transformed the exhibition space into a visionary environment where nature, dreams, and imagination have merged.
The exhibition, held on the 25th floor of the Unipol Tower in Bologna, brings together the contemporary Italian artistic research efforts, generating forms in which the organic element evolves into anomalous and alienating conformations starting from the observation of natural data.
The artists on display are David Casini, Caterina Morigi, Marta Pierobon, Alessandro Roma and Alberto Scodro. Their works, which explore the metamorphoses of matter through different media and languages, spark a dialogue with two masterpieces from the Unipol Group’s artistic heritage: Tombeau d’un roi maure (1929) by Alberto Savinio, a historic exponent of Metaphysical Painting, and Suspended Form – Red Ground (1962) by Graham Sutherland, a British master who interpreted Surrealism in a unique way.
The exhibition’s title suggests this concept: “organic,” as in that which lives and adapts, and “fantastic,” as in the space of dreams and becoming “other,” suggesting to look at reality with new eyes. The works selected push form beyond its limits, triggering mutations that question identity, species, and matter.
These works thus become the contact zone where unprecedented encounters are woven: hybrids between flesh and bark, membranes between the human, the animal, and the vegetal. From this perspective, art is no longer simply a representation of nature, but an act of co-creation with it.
