How can a woman survive domestic violence? Music, novels with happy endings, and an imaginary marriage are the lifelines of an “ordinary” housewife. With irony, simplicity, and sometimes disarming candour, a woman retraces the story of her life, holed up at home, searching for guilt that is not hers. The dream of marrying her beloved singer is the pretext for addressing an issue that is tragically before everyone’s eyes and is far from being resolved. Only at the end, will we understand where she is, who she’s speaking to, and why. A show that stirs reflection: It cannot be considered normal for a woman to be killed, molested, or forced to endure any form of violence by men unworthy of being called such.
